I remember as a kid, my grandpa would always be taking pictures; anything he saw that he felt was captivating or unique was captured with the click of a button. One day he entered a photo he took of me and my little
sister into a contest, and he won! I absolutely loved when he would bring home his photos to show me; I was fascinated with pictures. Being only 5 years old, I loved drawing, doing crafts and anything else to express the creative side of me. Now that I'm older and I've learned a little more about myself I've realized almost nothing's changed. I'm still that creative little girl I once was. I'm always caught daydreaming about things I want to do, or be. I had a big imagination and I still do. When I took this class last year, I realized photography isn't just about taking beautiful pictures and cool portraits. Each and every picture tells a story of a memory that can't be undone. It's like having a key back into your favorite days, and releasing all the locked up memories back into your heart. I absolutely love the thought of that.
